Talofa lava, Kia orana, Fakaalofa lahi atu, Talofa ni, Kia ora and Hello
A warm welcome back to everyone for 2018. We have had a rather hot and busy week getting back into our learning.
Room 6 have been learning about Storytelling and 'The Little Red Hen'. Miss Patrick performed the story for us and then we discussed the characters and what happens in the story. On Friday we drew our story maps to help us with the order when we are retelling it. Over the next few weeks we will be doing lots of learning and activities around this story. Look in next weeks newsletter to read more about Storytelling.

We had a visit from Poppy the kitten. She was extremely soft and cuddling and Room 6 learnt lots about how you hold a cat, what you feed it and how to look after it.
We made some gorgeous art work of our names. These are up in Room 6 alongside our pictures for everyone to see.
We love playing alphabet games. We are getting better at finding the letters by their sounds and names.
We have been learning about each other and everyones whānau. We made these gorgeous pictures of us to present to Room 2.
On Tuesday we had a whole school water afternoon, it was fantastic to see everyone interacting positively with each other which is our PRIDE value for this week.
