Term 4 Week 6

Room 6 have been missing having Mrs Calder to help us with our learning. We wish her all the best back at University and hope that she comes back to visit.
On Monday we had the White Ribbon Riders visit Netherby School. The students learnt an important message and loved looking at the motorbikes in the rain.
We had a fantastic time at Flower Hour last week. We loved making our flower Christmas decorations with our Whānau.

Term 4 Week 4

On Monday we all tried lemon as we were learning about the letter "l". It was great to hear and see all the descriptive vocabulary in our story writing.
We have been making a paper machè Magpie as this is the main character in our Magpie's Magnet story this term.
Mr Wheeler, Mrs Calder and Ally helped out with making hedgehogs and houses. We had a great time making them and then writing about our hedgehogs.
We have been having lots of fun exploring with magnets. We also made some creative artwork with magnets and bolts/nails. We are really going to miss Mrs Calder next week.

Term 4 Week 3

Thank you to everyone who came to the Pasifika Fono on Thursday afternoon. It was great to talk to you all to help increase our knowledge about how we can support our Pasifika students and families. The students in the Pasifika group from Room 6 had an amazing time on stage.
We loved visiting the A & P show and getting to see the art and Grasshead entries we had made.
We have been working very hard on adding numbers.
