Term 3 - Weeks 5 and 6

We have been working on our fine motor skills by using these tweezers to move the cotton balls onto the correct colour. It is tricky, but we are getting better at it with perseverance.
We have been using a range of materials to work out math problems.
We are very thankful to Kai for Kids and them serving us delicious lunches.
We have been working extremely hard on our writing. Miss Patrick is very proud of the progress we are making.

Thank you to the whānau who attended our Pasifika Fono on Thursday. It was great to see you all there.
We made Autumn tree art as part of our season focus this term.

Term 3 Week 3 & 4

We are loving our winter fitness of whole school Jump Jam each morning. We are getting a lot more confident and are showing perseverance with learning the dance moves.
We have been completing science experiments to help with our curiosity, predictions and thinking skills. We thought this colour mixing one was magic.
We have been learning how to dribble the ball in soccer. We love being outside and learning new skills with our friends.
We had fun playing a maths game on Friday. It was about adding or subtracting people on our own bus.
We loved being on stage and leading assembly. We were very brave and it was great to see our whānau come to watch us.
We have been learning how to work independently.

Term 3 Week 2

We have continued our learning about the different seasons linked to our school production. Each week we are learning about a different one and making a amazing wall display with all our work.

We have been leaning how to create graphs from information. This graph we made about the colours of smarties we had in our bag.

We are enjoying trying new vegetables with our Kai Kids lunches. Thank you to all the volunteers who are helping with this.
