Weeks 3 & 4

We were very excited to have our first P.E lesson with Mark last week. We were learning about moving in different directions without touching each other.

We have been practising learning the numbers before and after a number. This is us using our new whiteboards to write them down.

We love using our special reading phones to read our books. It is good to hear ourselves and make sure we are reading fluently.

We had a special visiter last week. This man is walking the length of New Zealand with his 2 dogs to make people more aware about animal welfare.

Term 1 Week 2

We made some beautiful art work about ourselves, we also learnt about sketching. We have been learning how to use a pencil to shade and make different types of lines.

We have been learning about being able to read numbers and colour in the correct amount of objects.

We have been learning about relating to others and being a kind team member. Miss Patrick let us use the blocks to show how we can be good listeners and support each other.

This week our shared book is The Giant's Ice Cream. We painted our own yummy Ice Creams. They are up in Room 6 if you want to see them.

2017
Kia ora       Talofa Lava       Welcome

A warm welcome back to School to everyone. We had a great first day in Room 6 getting to know each other.

We were very lucky and got to pick new Duffy Books on our first day back.

We also did some counting and one to one matching. We made backgrounds for our posters that we are making about us and our Whānau.
